A street in Dheisheh

Were pleased to report the following.

The 2018 pilgrimage group lead by Bishop Graham went to Dheisheh on the Feast of Candlemas, 2 February. (The 2017 pilgrimage group also visited Dheisheh)

From the facebook page of St. Marys' Atlleborough. "Today the Diocese of Norwich pilgrimage to the Holy Land visited the Dheisheh Refugee Camp, just south of Bethlehem, where John Aves, Rector of Attleborough 1982-1999, was living at the time of his death in 2004. Our visit was led by Jijad, a 37 year old lifelong resident of the camp, who said: "Father John was my closest friend... he is still part of our family. He was a big brother to all of us. I pray for him - please pray for him too - but what he was doing here is still going on."'

The second Diocese of Norwich pilgrimage, lead by the Dean of Norwich Cathedral, visited Dheisheh on 16 March.

Both groups spent time with JAEP students listening to their stories

Thats 150 more people to spread the word about the work of JAEP!
